About Dr. Polee

Dr. Talyah Polee, DSW, LMFT, is a graduate of California Baptist University with a Doctorate in Social Work and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Polee has been practicing psychotherapy for 7 years. Her therapeutic approach consists of collaboration with clients. Dr. Polee provides warmth and encouragement as she assists clients to gain deeper awareness of themselves, including their thought patterns, feelings, and how they perceive the world around them. Dr. Polee specializes in racial trauma, racial identity, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, and attachment injuries in relationships. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, through the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She is listed on the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee Mental Health Directory. Dr. Polee utilizes a holistic approach by encompassing mindfulness techniques, somatic techniques, and Schema Therapy. Dr. Polee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Nevada.
